Jay's Story - Your best version

"The journey might be painful, but it's undoubtedly worth it."

I've been on a healing journey for about 6 to 7 years. I discovered my spirituality when I was 19 or 20 years old. Back then, I detested the idea of religion and being labeled as 'God's Daughter.'

I never felt connected until I began to realize how much of the world I didn't know about. I became a beginner's witch and learned that my struggles and battles were necessary for me to become the best version of myself.

I always believed that the challenging times, the hardships, were meant to break me, but I've come to understand that they were meant to shape me into the person I am today.

I've learned to embrace and love myself, both the dark and light aspects, recognizing how essential both are. Eight months ago, I welcomed my beautiful daughter, and that's when the real process of inner work, self-love, and self-care truly began.

I didn't realize how much I needed an app like Gratitude. It's as if my thoughts naturally align to help me focus on the positive and express gratitude to the people and the universe.

My journey is just beginning, but I am now certain that I am capable of anything, including letting go of pain and hurt. I am who I am because of what I've experienced, and I'm grateful for everything.

Becoming the best version of myself means acknowledging the need to balance the good and the bad. Learning requires both. Feeling pain doesn't mean we deserve it, but it's essential for growth.

Without my toxic relationship, I wouldn't have the best thing that has ever happened to me in this lifetime—my daughter. It's not all rainbows and sunshine, but it's exactly what I needed, and I wouldn't change a thing in my life.

I choose happiness even in the midst of life's challenges, and that decision has been the best I've made. Believe in yourself, trust that you can overcome anything, because you can. Everything aligns to help you become the best version of yourself. Accept that you are where you need to be, and the rest will come naturally.

Love yourself as you truly deserve. If you don't hurt yourself, no one can. Heal for yourself, forgive yourself first, treat yourself with respect, and know that your shadow self deserves light too.

The journey might be painful, but it's undoubtedly worth it. Love is the key, and you hold the power to unlock it within yourself. When your frequency is in harmony, you'll naturally attract what you need in that moment. Be patient with yourself.
