Gratitude didn’t fix my life. But it taught me how to see it, and myself, with more care.

I was whole, and beautiful, and worthy just as I was in that particular moment.

Gratitude is what keeps me in the moment and still be open to the wonderment in the world, in each moment.

I realised that my mum’s money in another person’s pocket would never buy them what we had in life and what we carry in memory.
