That’s true for our lives too. We can not only change the world but also our lives, and perhaps that’s much easier. The important and fundamental thing is to believe that we can and here’s where manifestation comes in.
I’ve been writing about manifestation lately and it’s been more fun than I had imagined! It’s one of those ideas that are easy to be cynical about and going in with an open mind, with the sole intention of learning and understanding makes a big difference. And, that’s what I recommend you to do too.
In this post, I’ll be sharing about the 369 method or 369 manifestation method, and also share more manifestation methods you can choose from to practice. In the end, I will share other tips that will help you in this journey.

What is manifestation?
Manifestation means to shape your reality into your ideal one with the power of your thoughts. In manifestation, the quality and strength of our thoughts that shape our mindset are supreme. It gives focus on how we feel as we move towards our goals.
Like in this image below, we can see how a strong and positive mindset acts as a protective field against negativity and self-sabotaging thoughts, thereby making it easier for us to believe in ourselves and our dreams more, and focus on what's important.
Here are a few of my pointers on how to choose what to manifest:
- Be specific: If you’re headed north, even if you take a few turns in the other directions, you’ll still be moving towards it because that’s what you’re focused on. It’s the same in manifestation, be specific about what you want to manifest.
- Choose important goals: Make sure that what you want to manifest is something that you really, truly want. Be careful to not imitate, or choose something because others say you can’t have it.
What do you want?
Thing is, if we really believe and be persistent, we can achieve what we want. But, to really be joyful through it all, we need to choose what is in line with our life’s vision.
- Manifest for yourself: Although the ambit of manifestation seems to be infinite, I recommend seeking to manifest what is directly related to you. The things that are under influence of your choices and actions.
So, we can hope and wish for something to manifest in our friend’s life but unless that is really related to us, we don’t have control over it. You can still try, of course. There is no rule here. But, if you’re starting out with this, start with yourself.
Alright then, let’s go to the manifestation methods now. They are the answers to the question: How do I practice manifestation? I will list 7 methods below, there are more out there, but these are the ones that I found really helpful.
1. 369 method/369 manifestation method
The Serbian-American inventor Nikola Tesla is alleged to have stated: “If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6, and 9, then you would have a key to the universe.”
And that is what the 369 method is based on. In this method, we first form a powerful sentence or short paragraph that clearly states what we want to manifest. The tips on writing this are,
- Start with gratitude
- Write as though what you want is already real
- Add a lot of feeling to it
- Keep it short and focused
For example, you want to manifest your dream home. Here’s how your sentence can be, “I am so grateful to live in the home of my dreams. I feel incredible love and joy as I look at these baby pink walls adorned with photographs, Scandinavian-themed interiors, and place my feet on the soft grass in our beautiful garden. This is all I wanted and it’s here now.”
You can choose the length, and make a mix of very specific details and general goals. Make sure that all of them align with your main goal.
Once you have your sentence, here’s how you bring it into the 369 manifestation method.
Every day, do this:
Step 1: Write this sentence 3 times in a journal in the morning.
Step 2: Write it 6 times in your journal during the midday.
Step 3: Write it 9 times in your journal before you sleep.
Keep this going for 33 days. If you happen to miss a day, make up for it in the next one. During this writing activity, strongly visualize how it would look and feel as your dream comes true. Live in that moment. It is the feeling that is most important here.
Don’t do this activity half-heartedly or as a chore. Form a high-energy and hopeful mindset here. You can do one or more of the manifestation methods that I’ll talk about below to make the 369 method more effective.
One more important part is after each time you do your activity, don’t think about it again until it’s time for the next. Let it go. It is important to have focused minutes of believing that you are living your dream.

2. Vision Boards
In Jack Canfield's words, "A vision board is a visualization tool which refers to a board of any sort used to build a collage of words and pictures that represent your goals and dreams. The inspirational collages serve as your image of the future – a tangible example, idea, or representation of where you are going."

3. Gratitude Journaling
It’s all about our state of mind, right? Focusing on gratitude is proven to make us more optimistic, stress-free, and happier overall. Start maintaining a gratitude journal and write about one thing that you’re grateful for each day.

4. Positive Affirmations
This is another effective and highly popular manifestation method that will empower you to believe in yourself. Positive affirmations reshape the monologue of our minds. It transforms our tone and choice of words to be more compassionate, understanding, and appreciative.
Here are some manifestation affirmations that you would find helpful:
- I choose to work smartly.
- My soul is ready to live the life of my dreams.
- I’m worthy enough to follow my dreams and manifest my desires.
- My thoughts are positive and uplifting.
- I am the creator of my reality.
- My external reality is a direct reflection of my internal state.
- As I assume, so it will be.
- Change begins on the inside.
- I hold the key to reality.
- I can rewrite my story easily.

This is a no-brainer, right? Mediation is known to help center ourselves and bring our minds to a calm state. Before you do your 369 method you can do a guided meditation to make your practice stronger and at a higher energy level.

6. Scripting Manifestation
This method is about writing about your life as if you have already manifested what you want. So, it’s a journal entry but you’re writing it from the perspective of your future self who has achieved your dreams.
Keep these things in mind:
- Express gratitude for achieving your goals
- Describe with great detail how it feels
- Specify all the ways that your dream has manifested
- Don’t worry about the length, the longer the better
- Strongly visualize how it would be to be your future self
- Truly believe in that reality as you write down
- Use positive, affirmative statements
7. Keep a worry bin, if you need
There might be times when it’s not easy for you to believe as if your dream has come true, days when it’s not coming naturally to you. Instead, there is worry, fear, doubt, and cynicism.
For this, keep a worry bin. Jot down how you honestly feel. What are the thoughts that you’re having? Let them all out. Keep this bin locked. Only keep an opening for input. Later, you can discard these papers by shredding or burning them.
More helpful tips
Now, let me share more tips on how you can make your manifestation stronger with the methods above:
1. Challenge yourself
To change our reality, we must do something different or more than we were before. So, challenge yourself to do (in addition to manifestation) what you know is helpful and will take you closer to your dreams, but fear, insecurity, or any other obstacle has been stopping you.
You deserve your dreams. You have all that you need within yourself. Give yourself the chance because no one else will.
2. Keep learning
When we're children, every day is about learning something new. Everyone around us makes sure to help us learn what we need, what will help us, and what will make things easier and save our time. It is their duty then. But when we're older, it is upon us to take that job.

3. Simplify your life
The time and energy that we have is precious, so we must choose where we direct it to. Give these to only what is important to you, what helps you grow, and what helps you contribute to valuable initiatives.
When we invest our focus only on the things that matter, our life forms in a way that is true and fulfilling to us. It also reduces clutter and brings a sense of calm. So, simplify your life.
4. Connect with yourself
There is not an exact amount of time that manifestation will take for you. It's different for everyone. So, during this time (and forever), make sure to connect with yourself.
What matters to you? Why do want what you want? How will your dreams help shape a happy and peaceful life for you?
