Affirmations for Embracing Emotions, The Way to True Self-Acceptance, and Naomi's story

Hey grateful people! Happy to see you again 🤗

Hope that you're all doing very well and living life gratefully.

Here are last week's highlights for you:

Mindful Monday

Last Monday, we practiced affirmations to help us embrace the diverse set of emotions we can experience. They are great to start your day with or whenever you want to boost your mood. These affirmations are part of my 21-day Self-love course:

  1. I am allowed to feel this way.
  2. The greatest gift I can give and receive is the awareness of what I need right now.
  3. I am free to choose the palette of my emotional sky.
  4. I can easily manage my emotions.
  5. It is okay for me to feel my feelings.
  6. My feelings are valid.
  7. I am doing the best that I can do.
  8. I am honest with myself.
  9. I take care of my emotions and my well-being.
  10. I value my emotions and my life.

Wise Wednesday

Last Wednesday, we learned about self-acceptance. Imagine if you had to be with someone every single second, a person that you don’t accept, let alone love, it wouldn’t be so pleasant, right? Now imagine not accepting yourself.

If self-acceptance isn’t there, the quality of our life diminishes. And, since you and I are here, we both want the best for ourselves.

Here are the 3 points on self-acceptance:

  1. Understand that it accelerates self-improvement
  2. Use introspection to support you
  3. Be kind to yourself

Thankful Thursday

Here we had Naomi sharing her story about experiencing a rollercoaster in life in a very short span of time, starting from a phase of struggle to now cherishing life.

"The importance of it is actually the realization that I'm important.

Gratitude is not expressed for the person next to you, it is expressed for being alive to even be in the presence of this person who just happens to be alive with you right now. And when it comes that way, it's hard to understand because we weren't taught that.

And so for me, it's just this weird realization where I'm unlocking this idea of gratitude in my life, and realizing that essentially, I am that energy, so why not harness it within myself?"

Naomi’s story - A Book, An App, A Practice
“It’s not about the idea of changing as a person. It’s about the idea of changing your perspective. So you can be the best person for yourself and radiate that beauty from the inside to the outside world because eventually, someone’s going to see it.”

Think this will help other people? Let's spread kindness by sharing this on WhatsApp and Facebook.
